Ct-114 Aircraft Manual

ANOTHER great piece of freeware - as somebody who has delved into all aspects of the Sim ( Gmax, panels, sounds, etc ) and realised that I just don't have the patience or creativity to create an original piece of work, I am absolutely in awe of freeware creators who put these a/c together. One small thing I have found so far with this a/c - the VC is quite dark during daytime. This is quite common in many VCs - but some VCs are quite light during the day. So I don't know why some have this problem and some don't. I do find that it makes quite a difference in flying from the VC.For example, I found that Milton's Commander 500s series had this problem - but his Shrike has a nice bright VC which makes it very flyable for me. I have now managed to modify his 500 series panels to be the same as the Shrike - by moving one of his Shrike gauges into the 500 panel and altering the lights section of the aircraft.cfg.Now, for the Snowbird Tutor, the first thing I notice is that the lights section in the aircraft.cfg file for VC lights is slashed out // - so by removing these, the light situation is a little better, but still needs more work.Barry. Hi Ted,Not sure what you mean by the pitot tube?

Is there a problem with it?Also, the 'metal stock' is actually a fuel tube used for inverted flight. Not something you would want to step on.About the VC lighting. The reason I commented them out was because of the glare on the windscreen, plus with the fx on, the backlite gauges effect doesn't look as nice.

The VC glass is dark because that is what I liked. I had tried a version where the glass was like it wasn't there, didn't like it too much. I will be making an update mdl file with the VC glass not as dark, will be like it isn't there almost.

That should help with letting more light in.Zoren.
